Computing & Administration

The objective of this programme is to provide participants with a range of technical skills in Information Technology, administration and computer applications.  This will provide a practical knowledge of the fast paced I.T. industry and a step towards a career in today's competitive workplace environment.

This programme has a strong focus on preparing participants for employment in the growing I.T. industry in Northland and beyond, by staircasing into advanced I.T. education and qualifications.

We will help work out a plan for the future, increase confidence, learn a variety of practical skills and work towards the National Certificate in Educational Achievement.  This National Certificate provides participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to operate a computer and provides an effective platform on which to buidtechnical and computer repair skills.

Computer hardware, software and peripherals

Reception and Administrative skills

Up to date CV stored on a secure database for future updates

Students will also have the opportunity to gain

Drivers Licence

There will be tutor led sessions, group and individual work involved.


Programme Fees

There is no cost for eligible participants. All resources and materials are provided.
