Adult & Tertiary Teaching (Level 4)

We offer the most competent adult and tertiary teaching and training in Whangarei. Through our expert instruction and insights, you will gain the foundational knowledge and teaching competencies needed for an adult and tertiary educator.

Whether you are a trainer just starting out or a mid-career level teacher, this course will open up great opportunities to develop and showcase your core skills.

We take theory into practice. This is a step up the training route where you can integrate all the knowledge acquired in the course and implement it in new situations and diverse learning environments.

PROGRAMME CONTENT INCLUDES:

Principles and theories of adult learning
Plan for and deliver learning sessions
Review and evaluate teaching process.

QUALIFICATIONS AVAILABLE:

New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching Level 4

ENTRY CRITERIA:

Selection Interview
Placement in the industry to complete the practical component is also required.

Driver Licence

LENGTH

16 weeks with teaching delivered over a series of workshops

SCHEDULE

Self-directed learning will be required between workshops

VENUE

Usually held at the Whangarei Campus, but if there is sufficient interest other venues will be considered.
