Early Childhood Education Level 2

This programme will provide you with fundamental skills for the early childhood industry with an insight into the different opportunities available, with the primary focus on parenting roles or as support for Kaiawhina and carer in a supervised environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AVAILABLE:

NZ Certificate in Early Childhood Learning & Care Level 2
National Certificate in Educational Achievement Level 1
National Certificate in Educational Achievement Level 2
New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills Level 1
NZ Certificate in Foundation Skills Level 2

ENTRY CRITERIA:

All students who wish to enrol must go through a selection interview process.  Participants who meet the criteria below are able to take part in these programmes:

  • Aged 16 years and above and left school
  • Commitment to completing the qualifications
  • Commitment to move to higher level education on completion of the programme
