YG WHANGAREI WANANGA

Our amazing students and staff visited the Ngati Wai marae in Ngaiotonga, Whangaruru, for a 3-day wananga. The purpose of our outing was to motivate, inspire and strengthen our learners’ cultural identity. We also participated in a big marae clean-up as part of our community project. The wananga was inspirational because it provided opportunities for all students and staff to learn, work together, and complete practical work for their assessments.
